The swim plan depends on the individual and will be structured according to the need and ability. Swim plan £32.50 per session.

All dogs are swum on a one to one basis in a controlled manner, in compliance with NARCH guidelines. Veterinary permission is required before any dog is swum.

The pool is heated constantly to 29°c to aid comfort, relaxation and pain relief. Fun swimming is a great way to increase your dogs fitness as well as giving them mental well being and stimulation. Puppy sessions are great to strengthen young dogs joints and gain water confidence.

A dog’s muscles benefit from the warming effects of the heated pool. Although swimming works and strengthens the whole body we also use exercises to target specific areas that may have been injured or weakened. In between swimming sets we use aquatic massage to help encourage blood flow. Balance exercises that also help strengthen core and back muscles are also part of the swim plan. Swimming and massage release endorphins which help to control pain and relieve tension.

Cold Laser therapy uses light to stimulate cells increasing the productivity of ATP, the energy source of cells. The reproduction of healthy cells and efficiency of cellular function aids to: • Alleviate chronic or acute pain • Reduce inflammation of soft tissue • Reduce edema (fluid trapped in body tissue) • Activate immune cells • Reduce bacteria in region of treatment • Increase blood flow to region of treatment • Speed healing and recovery Laser Therapy is an additional £10 per treatment.
